How to Vote the Right Way

I'm shocked at how ignorant the American public is when it comes to politics and how stupid we all really are.

The media has a lot to do with how we choose who we want to vote for. In my opinion, the media can be very biased at times and they always give inaccurate information.

Publicity ads should be ignored like the plague; that is just mudslinging. And someone with a whole lot of wealth can easily have the upperhand.

Religion should not be a big factor, because no matter who wins, God has his plans to do good. A politician shouldn't hide behind a bible and declare himself rightious. That is just wrong and dirty politics.

Tax cuts are a temporary way to boost the economy, but not a solution. The real way to boost economy is to lower interest rates, which is in control of Alan Greenspan, not the President. However, many people are easily bribed by money. Tax cuts can actually hurt our government that already has a tight budget. Reducting the budget, means government job cuts, less money for our schools, less government spending. Unless a President decides to keep the spending budget and pass the debt to our children. This way, the President creates the illusion that he is doing a great job. Again, dirty politics.

Voting should be done intelligently. Do research, know who stands behind what issues. For the United States to remain a superpower, good foreign affairs are IMPERATIVE, that way we have control of the importing and exporting of goods. This also has an important impact on jobs in America. If more goods were imported to the US, then more companies in our homeland would have to shut down. That would mean no jobs. And a bad economy in the long run. You see, foreign affairs have everything to do with what happens at home.

The President has many jobs. If you know anything about the government, the most important job of all, is foreign affairs.

Look at the big picture. Get educated. Vote smart.
