According to a recent article at Monster.com, a reputable employment website, employers are more and more seeking people with work EXPERIENCE than college degrees. I think it is kinda interesting and it makes a lot of sense. "Generally for federal jobs, one academic year of full-time study (30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours) is equivalent to nine months of work experience. A bachelor's degree is equivalent to three years of general experience."
So yeah, with the current situation with degree mills and low quality colleges giving out college degrees like candy, I can see how experience can be favorable and become a huge bullet on a resume.
But don't just assume that you can just get a job with experience. It would still be wise to get your degree to have that extra edge against your competition.
