Last week, I got the word that I'll be going to Kuwait. More info to follow. Yesterday, I got fitted for a gas mask. It took them 2 tries before they got it right. I put on a mask and those guys put me in a plastic bubble thing. A machine pumps in some kind of vegetable oil or something into the bubble and the gas mask was connected to the machine. I noticed that there were two electrodes inside of the mouth piece... Anyways, the machine detects if it detects any oil or not. The results are then printed on the screen. Real high tech stuff. I'm scrambling with setting up vacation time as well as appointments with optometry, legal, etc. before I go.
This is a picture of the line of cars outside of the maingate in the mornings.
