Lytle Creek Volunteer Project

This weekend, I organized a volunteer event at Lytle Creek, CA. It was a successful project with the primary focus of litter and graffiti removal. Within the first 15 minutes, we removed an entire truckload of refuse! I'm so proud of my volunteers and the U.S. Forest Service for helping preserve our forest and creeks!











Removing graffiti was the hardest part of this project. We removed a small segment of graffiti and did some impact. When my power tools ran out of batteries (I ran through four sets) we proceeded with covering up graffiti with mud and rock. Overall, we removed about 200 pounds of litter! What a difference we made!

Adventure City

Nestled between Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm lies Adventure City. It is a theme park located in Buena Park, CA geared towards kids less than 11. It is a hidden gem!

Asian American Expo

This weekend we went to the Asian American Expo in Pomona, California. It was an amazing place for your one-stop all asian food, gadget, animal extravaganza! It was really fun. We spent the whole day, from sun up to sun down. We rode an elephant, rode ponies and ate exotic food that we couldn't get anywhere else. We watch plenty of shows too. The dragon dance, Japanese Taiko drums and the Asian parade were some of the best I have ever seen.

2011 Los Angeles Carshow

Can you believe that it's a Scion?

This years Los Angeles Carshow was really exciting. I saw a lot of new and upcoming concept cars like the Scion and plug-in hybrids for Ford. In addition to fuel efficient mini-cars, muscle cars are making a come back.
