Disney Adventure On Ice
The Disney Adventure On Ice had "The Incredibles" theme. It was a story about the Incredibles going on vacation to Disneyland. While they were there, Disneyland was taken over by Syndrome. So it was up to the Incredibles to come out from hiding and save Disney from the evils of Syndrome and his robot army. I would rate it this entertainment top notch, 5 out of 5. The high price for tickets was well worth it. I paid close to $60 for all three of us at a military discount. There was plenty of carnival style toy and candy stands outside the stadium. Nayeli and Vicky both got a magic wands. It was spectacular and I highly recommend it. Nayeli didn't blink her eyes during the whole thing.

2009 DC Car Show

Ford Explorer Concept
This years car show was about fuel efficient cars. On display were a lot of alternative fuel vehicles. It was refreshing to see that the car industry is investing a lot on green energy.

Victoria's First Birthday

Happy Birthday Victoria! We celebrated Victoria's Birthday at the CDC with a Whole Foods Organic Strawberry cake with almonds. It was very good. Victoria gobbled up a whole slice of cake. She got some gifts from her daycare providers, some new shoes and clothes. Our neighbors gave her a book with sound effects, and Soco's parents gave her a pretty b-day card with balloons. She was very happy :)
