The Flight Back Home
Riding First Class back to the States
The military flight to Seattle was canceled... So we had them book us another flight since we already had a connecting flight from Seattle to Los Angeles to catch today. When we checked into Northwest Airlines, they told us that they were "overbooked" and that they couldn't accommodate us on that flight. To compensate us, they upgraded us to First Class and flew us straight to Los Angeles and gave us $1,500 in airplane vouchers. It worked out very well.
It was my first time flying first class. The food was very fine! I had a nice spring roll and shrimp cocktail appetizer, Kung Pao Chicken and cheese cake with chocolate topping for desert. The food was definitely First Class! The chair was really cool, it had a lumbar(back) message mechanism and it electronically flattened itself out into a comfortable bed! The entertainment options were first rate also. There were video games, video on-demand with remote control capability and a huge selection of music. The headphones were very comfortable, they block out the engine noise. The airline stewardess also pampered us. I'm not used to having my bags moved by someone else and all my trash disposed of without me asking. Usually they tell me to "stow your items under the seat in front of you". I had an unlimited supply of orange juice and Nayeli had plenty of fresh Hokkaido Japanese unpasteurized milk (the best milk there is). We were riding in luxury.
My Delta airline tickets from Seattle to LAX were nonrefundable since I didn't purchase flight insurance through Expedia.com. My fault.
Ramirez Residence Back in Fontana... at Nayeli's grandparent's house.

Roosters are surprisingly hard to photograph. He kept running away.

Tokyo Disneyland
We decided to end our last weekend with the ultimate trip. Tokyo Disneyland.
Walking to Tokyo Disneyland This picture was taken right outside the Maihama JR Station. To get there from Tokyo, take the Keiyo or Musashino Express Line and get off at Maihama.
Strollers in front of the Jungle Cruise Attraction Everywhere we went, the lines were incredibly long. The fast pass ticket line was ridiculous too. The expected wait times for some of the shorter lines were 90 minutes.
Being that everything in Japan is small, Tokyo Disney is a mini version of California's Disneyland. Approximately 1/4 smaller.
Monica lost her wallet in Toontown. She was really stressed out and mad at the entire world. In only one hour, her cellphone, Coach wallet, ID, keys, credit cards and ALL her cash were all returned. Her cell phone was also turned off to conserve battery. Wow, the Japanese get an A++ for their honesty! No reward necessary. Why can't Americans follow their example? Boy, I'm going to miss Japan!

Sayonara Nihon
Typhoon Packout Our packout was prolonged by the typhoon. Since it was extremely windy and wet, the movers had to leave the boxes in our home until the typhoon went away (the next day).

Sign Language
Nayeli knows how to say "Milk" in sign language. She's just discovered this new power and using it to her full advantage. She has been asking for milk all this weekend, sometimes overdosing herself with so much milk, she has been wasting it. It's okay though, I want this to spark up the encouragement to learn more signs.
Milk - Squeeze both hands, as if you're milking a cow
Eat - Bring your fingers to your mouth as if you're holding a piece of food

Hard Rock Cafe Yokohama
Hard Rock Cafe Yokohama This place is a nice place to go for the atmosphere. The food wasn't that great, but just going inside was worth the price.
Konopizza Pizza in a Cone!
The pizza in a cone was pretty good. Seems like a good franchise opportunity. They're already in established in Europe. If you love crust, you'll love pizza in a cone. Very crunchy.

Hungry for C.P.K.

At the end of summer carnival at the child development center.
Waiting for the next green train at the Chuo station.
Kawasaki Lazona Plaza
Lazona Plaza at Night
We had to go back to California Pizza Kitchen before leaving Japan. The service is freak'in outstanding. It is funny to see that usually I see Japanese people order spend a good 10 to 15 minutes looking at the menu just to order one appetizer and one pizza for everyone on the table. I ate my entire pizza that was served to me and it wasn't much. They must think that I'm a pig or something.
McPork?I haven't tried this, but I will sometime in the next few days.
I apologize for the grainy pictures when you click to enlarge. I've been trying to reduce the size of the images to save storage space on Blogger!
